Challenge
Reventure had validated its product, but was facing challenges in user retention and engagement, hindering monetisation efforts.
The core challenge was a poorly intuitive product experience and a failure to clearly communicate the value proposition, resulting in 60% of all support tickets concerning basic functionality and driving up operational costs.

Research & Discovery
I started by asking: Who's actually using this, and what's stopping them?
Through the survey we found out that users were spending a lot of time performing a search and analyze data explored design interventions on various touch-points in the app with the help of the user-search data indexed by the search team.

Research & Discovery
I redesigned the core interface to prioritize clarity and education, making complex real estate data accessible to all user types.
We reduced 50% time to perform a search by removing all the redundent steps and smartly crafting the userflow

I realized we needed education embedded in the interface. I created a comprehensive Data Point Library where every metric includes plain-language definitions paired with real-world examples.
This transformed Reventure from just a data tool into an educational platform. Users build financial literacy while making decisions, increasing both confidence and engagement.

I created a visual Scorecard that summarized investment potential at a glance, becoming the anchor of the premium tier.
The Scorecard provided an aggregate score based on multiple factors—affordability, income potential, inventory, and more. This premium feature delivered clear value that converted free users to paid subscribers at a 23% rate.
Clarity drives retention and revenue
By solving for user understanding first, we unlocked both engagement and monetization. The redesign validated that users will pay for features when they trust the platform and understand its value.
Key outcomes:
The Scorecard feature saw a 42% adoption rate among free users
15% of Scorecard users converted to paid subscriptions within 30 days
Support tickets related to data confusion decreased by 68%
Average session time increased by 34%, indicating higher engagement
Curn rate decreased from 23% to 6%
